Simone Biles, after the difficult moment she went through: “I will explain sooner or later”

Her future in gymnastics is uncertain, but even so, Biles has remained involved in the sport and participates in various events, being a Laureus ambassador. Recently, the 29-year-old athlete revealed, through stories on Instagram, that he went through a fearful experience and that he was close to death.

Biles didn't give too many details, but hinted that it was a health issue, she also posted a picture in which her heart rate was 126 beats per minute.

“I'm not usually one to share things like this because I value privacy these days. But being close to death wasn't on my agenda this week. It was one of the scariest experiences of my life, especially since Jonathan (nee Owens, her husband) was in Indianopolis training“, wrote the multiple Olympic and world champion in gymnastics.

“I've been in bed and resting this week. I'll explain sooner or later, but thanks to those in my inner circle who have contacted me, asked how I'm doing, visited me or sent me flowers. I love you all,” she added.

Biles posted three pictures: in the first she was wearing some hospital bracelets, in the second she was surprised by the bouquets of flowers she received, and in the third she was in bed with her two dogs and her heart rate increased.
