Cristiano Ronaldo (40 years old) scored on Monday in the derby between Al-Hilal and Al Nasr Riyadh, in stage 15 of the Saudi Arabian championship. His team lost away, score 1-3, the title fight remains open, but Al Nassr suffer their third consecutive defeat and lose a lot of ground.

It was the second success of the Lusitanian star in 2026, after the one in the match with Al Qadsiah, lost at home, score 1-2.

Ronaldo continues his run to reach 1,000 career goals, currently at 959.

After a first half in which balance was the order of the day, Cristiano stepped out just before the break (42'). Kingsley Coman was excellently served in the box by Felix, deflected to Ronaldo, and CR7 scored thirstily, hopelessly for Mohammed Al Rubaie.

The second half was going to be a nightmare for Ronaldo & Al Nassr. Al Hilal equalized in the 57th minute after Al Dawsari converted a shot from 11 meters and Al Aqidi, Al Nassr's goalkeeper, was sent off (60').

The last minutes decided the winner of the game. Mohamed Kanno made it 2-1 for Al-Hilal (81'), and Ruben Neves set the final score (90+2'), after converting a shot from 11 meters.

Ronaldo had been replaced in the 83rd minute with Wesley, at 1-2.

It ended 3-1 for Al-Hilal, a team that consolidates its first place in the Saudi Arabian championship, with 38 points after 14 matches. Al Nassr is 2nd with 31 points and can be overtaken by Al-Taawon.

For Ronaldo and Al Nassr, the duel at home with Al Shabab follows on January 17.
