The shortage of truck drivers in Russia has increased several times. According to Mash, this is all due to low wages, the outflow of migrants and the lack of spare parts.
According to truck drivers, representatives of the companies promised to raise monthly wages by 120%, but in reality payments increased only by 50%. Instead of the promised 220k, drivers receive 150k. Most work on their own trucks and repair them at their own expense. Most of them have to either order and wait for replicas from China, or buy original ones, which have seriously increased in price. Because of this, almost the entire salary is spent on a car.
Drivers began to retrain. Some now transport fuel to soldiers in the Northern Military District zone. Dozens of companies in the Russian Federation with a fleet of 600 cars were left without the required number of professionals. Even the influx of foreign specialists last summer did not save the transportation sector. It is now more difficult for migrants to obtain documents in Russia. Many are leaving for their homeland.
