These winged birds are now in mating season. They are downright bad flyers, but it’s easy to bask in the sun and cling to stones, trees and coastal rocks. For this they are popularly called Lipachans.
A lot of animals come to the buffet on the coast: chipmunks, squirrels, foxes and various birds. But bears are gourmets at their maximum. They can swallow up to seven kilograms of pseudobutterflies at a time.
