The friendly match of the Ukrainian national football team with Denmark on June 7 ended early due to health problems with Danish national team midfielder Christian Eriksen. The Danish publication Ekstra Bladet reported this on June 7.
The match between the teams was stopped early in the second half – after Eriksen suddenly fell onto the lawn, holding his chest.
The meeting, which took place at the Odense Isstadion stadium in the Danish city of Odense, ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the Danes, writes Suspilne Sport.
TV 2 Sport writes that Eriksen is now conscious and feeling well in the hospital.
Denmark team doctor Morten Besen, commenting on the incident, said that, in his opinion, during the match Christian Eriksen's implanted pacemaker worked, which could help stabilize his condition.
