The Hungarian club Zalaegerszeg, from which Dinamo Bucharest transferred coach Nuno Campos, sent thanks to the coach. The Portuguese seems to have left an excellent impression in Hungary: both former employer and supporters speak highly of him.
Nuno Campos (51 years old) is the new head coach of Dinamoafter signing for two years with the Bucharest team.
Campos worked in the 2025/2026 season at Zalaegerszeg, a Hungarian team that he led to 5th place, its best ranking after promotion in 2019.
It is certain that Campos' work was appreciated across the border. This is evident both from the club's press release and from the fans' reaction to the announcement of the coach's departure.
Zalaegerszeg, nice words when parting with Nuno Campos: “We are grateful, the efficiency is undeniable”
“ZTE FC Ltd. hereby informs its supporters, the community and members of the media that, at the request of head coach Nuno Campos, the club has reached an agreement with the technician and the Romanian first league team Dinamo Bucharest regarding the terms of his move to the Bucharest club.
As a result, after the end of the 2025-2026 season, Nuno Campos, the head coach of our first team, as well as his assistants, Gonçalo Gil Da Silva Cruz and João Pedro Pereira Machado Bagão, will leave the club.
Nuno Campos and his staff arrived at Zalaegerszeg in the summer of 2025 with the aim of implementing the club's sporting strategy by managing the first team. The effectiveness of their work in the individual development of our players, as well as in the progress of the team as a whole, is undeniable.
We are grateful for the dedication, involvement and achievements we have achieved together, looking back on all this with great pride. We wish them the best of luck in their future careers.
A fundamental pillar of our strategy is the identification, development and transfer of talented players. Successful implementation of this approach requires a high standard of professional, preparatory and analytical work.
We are proud that this philosophy serves not only the development of the club and our community, but also the individual ambitions and professional growth of our players and sports staff,” said the club's statement, which also published a photo collage of Nuno Campos in various positions, and the word “obrigado”, “thank you” in Portuguese.
