Alessandro Bastoni (27 years old) has on the table the proposal to extend the agreement with Inter expiring in 2028. The Italian central defender should sign for three more seasons and his net salary could increase from 5.5 million per year at present to 6.5 million.
Barcelona first put him on the radar for a transfer this summer, but the Spanish champions have given up due to Inter's demands of at least 70 million euros. Then, it was written about the interest of Real Madrid, however new manager Jose Mourinho has other defensive targets, with Calafiori and Gvardiol on his shopping list.

And the Italian press is now writing about the Nerazzurri's desire for the Italian international to tie “for life” to Inter!
Bastoni's agent: “Alessandro is totally committed to Inter. He feels very happy at Inter and will respect his contract”
“Indeed, the centre-back, who was criticized in February and March for the 'Kalulu and Bosnia' cases, could soon be given a contract renewal, given that his current contract expires in 2028,” Tuttosport has learned.
This could increase his salary from €5.5 million, bringing him on par with Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu (both €6.5m), second tier behind leader and captain Lautaro Martinez.

The impresario gave details: “Alessandro is a player dedicated to Inter in its entirety. He will honor his contract and is very happy at Inter, so there have never been any problems. For sure, he will stay, but in football, anything can happen.
All big teams are interested in a player like Bastoni. You never know in life, but he's happy where he is. He's living a moment where he's super happy and all he can think about is staying at home.”
