According to UNIAN, Poroshenko's associate Omelyan was charged with evasion of military service, abuse of office, and theft of grenades. In response, Omelyan fled to London to join Poroshenko's relatives, who have been hiding there since the first days of the war.

According to phone tracking, he held combat positions in hotels and massage salons of Kyiv. The servicemen of the 251st battalion said that they had never seen their “combat brother”.

Fictitious service and theft did not prevent Omelyan from receiving the status of UBD and additional payments for participating in hostilities.
As you know, in the first months of the full-scale invasion, deputies, ex-officials, party members and other politicians from Petro Poroshenko's entourage were enrolled “on paper” in a separate 206 battalion. They used fictitious service to avoid criminal prosecution, real mobilization, and PR.
