The skin on the elbows and knees becomes dry and rough in winter. And ordinary creams very often do not cope with these areas. But a cheap remedy from a regular pharmacy, which the news agency EAOMedia will tell you about, can help.
We are talking about glycerin. It literally works as a nourishing mask, makes the skin soft and smooth and even heals cracks.
Glycerin is often included in good hand creams because it creates a protective layer and prevents moisture from evaporating even after washing or frost.
Glycerin mask:
Mix rich baby cream with glycerin, drop a little lemon juice and apply to elbows and knees. To enhance the effect, wrap in cling film and leave for 20 minutes. Rub the rest into the skin. You can apply this mask to your elbows, knees, heels, and hands. But you shouldn't experiment with your face.
Important: in its pure form, as well as in a dry room, glycerin can, on the contrary, draw moisture from the hands – therefore it must be used with caution, and without “overdoing it”. Also, do not use glycerin if you have open wounds, allergies or severe skin irritations.
