The investigation against the Russian woman in the US is being conducted on the basis of several articles, including money laundering, complicity in criminal activities and illegal supplies of aircraft spare parts.

According to Russian journalists, the name of the detainee is Tatiana Kurashkevich. According to them, she is an entrepreneur, a master's student at the MGIMO Diplomatic Academy in Russia and an expert in the field of international trade.
The Russian woman's lawyer said that Kurashkevich came to Georgia as a tourist and learned about the criminal case in the United States only at the airport in Tbilisi. The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that the woman is currently being extradited to the US.
