The message of the head of the European Commission after the drone explosion in Constanța Port: “A direct consequence”

The explosion of the drone in Constanta Port is “a direct consequence of the war waged by Russia”, said the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
She sent a message after the incident on X, through a post in English, but with the title in Romanian: “Solidarity with Romania!”
“One week after a drone crashed into an apartment block in Galati, a maritime drone arrived today in the port of Constanța. This is a direct consequence of Russia's war against Ukraine,” von der Leyen wrote.
“This is increasingly becoming a direct threat to the countries on our eastern border,” she stressed.
“Our solidarity with every member state exposed to these threats is absolute. And our response must be commensurate with the urgency. Europe is investing massively in anti-drone capabilities, air defense and early warning systems. SAFE will contribute to building a stronger Romania. And a stronger Europe,” said the head of the European Commission.
