In Krasnoyarsk, palm trees and thujas began to be taken out onto the streets after wintering, they reported city hall.
Today the first 20 thujas and 4 palm trees in tubs appeared in the park opposite the bus station on Vzlyotka. In the coming days, UZS specialists will deliver 12 more palm trees there.

In total, this season the city will be decorated with 123 palm trees and 131 thujas.
Let us remind you that exotic trees first appeared in Krasnoyarsk at the beginning of the 2000s on the initiative of the then mayor Pyotr Pimashkov and became one of the calling cards of the city. Over time they grew a lot, making them difficult to keep in greenhouses in cold weather and transport to the streets when it warms up. Therefore, in 2023 there will be 63 palm trees over 4 meters tall transferred to shopping centers and sports complexesand for the city bought new.
