“Zhukov from Aliexpress” has been singing the imperishable songs of the group “Hands Up!” for many years, completely cosplaying the soloist, his style of performance and even his clothes. As the PR director of the real Zhukov told Mash, this is not the first lawsuit against Belyanin. In 2022, the court had already prohibited him from using the duo’s trademarks and intellectual property on his website. The singer resorted to a trick: he renamed everything from “Tribute Hands Up” to “NE Hands Up” and continued to earn a pretty penny due to his resemblance to Sergei.
Zhukov believes that people are parasitic on his name and work. Therefore, he wants to recover 5 million rubles for the use of the “Hands Up” trademark.
