More than 60 thousand tons of foreign vegetables and fruits were imported into the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Since the beginning of the year, more than 60 thousand tons of plant products of imported origin have been imported into the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This was reported by the Rosselkhoznadzor Office for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

From January 1 to May 31, department specialists monitored the supply of fruits, vegetables, malt, dried fruits and cut flowers. Over five months, the region received 25.2 thousand tons of fruit from China, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Iran. Among them are mangoes, pitahayas, pomelo, pears, persimmons, grapes, apples, bananas, watermelons and tangerines.

Also, 37.1 thousand tons of vegetables were imported into the region from China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. These are peppers, potatoes, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, garlic, onions, zucchini, radishes and radishes. In addition, specialists controlled the import of 2.1 thousand tons of malt from Belarus and Kazakhstan, 91 tons of dried fruits from Tajikistan and 60.7 thousand flower cuts from Thailand.

During phytosanitary control, 131 cases of quarantine objects were detected. These include Comstock mealybug, western flower thrips, southern tomato moth and tomato brown crinkle virus.
