An exhibition of children's drawings dedicated to Ecologist Day opened in Krasnoyarsk

5 June 18:40
An exhibition of children's drawings “Take care of your planet” opened at the Public Chamber of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. It was timed to coincide with Ecologist's Day, which is celebrated on June 5.
The exhibition presents works by children from 8 to 17 years old from different regions of Russia and neighboring countries. All of them are participants in the All-Russian children's drawing competition “Bullfinches”. The competition is held by the non-profit organization “Doshkolnik”, which is part of the Krasnoyarsk regional branch of the “Union of Women of Russia”.
“We have been holding this competition for 15 years, working specifically with children. Our main task is to instill patriotism in the younger generation. And the topic of ecology is very important. It is in the desire to keep our world clean and green that love for the Motherland, for one’s country is manifested,” noted exhibition organizer Alfiya Kruglova.
Over 15 years, more than 30 thousand children from 85 regions of Russia and 35 countries have taken part in the “Bullfinches” competition. The exhibition will run at the Public Chamber of the Krasnoyarsk Territory on Dubrovinsky Street, 1 until June 19. You can visit it on weekdays from 10:00 to 17:00.
