A military man from Latvia is convinced of the attack. He pointed to Russia's advantages

In an interview with the Financial Times, General Pudans stated that Putin's army may try to use the advantage in numbers of drones. The commander of the Latvian army pointed out that Russia has no technological advantage, and its advantage is “the ability to quickly and mass produce drones, quickly adapting them to the needs of war.”

The military official noted that Moscow can take advantage of the “window of opportunity” created by the fact that the reconstruction of the army in European countries will not be completed until the end of the decade.

The Latvian general says directly about Russia's attack. “If I were in the Kremlin”

– If I were in the Kremlin, I would say that if we do something, we must do it by the end of 2028 – said General Pudans directly.

In his opinion, Russia is currently focusing on Ukraine, but if the war ends, “it will be able to quickly increase its military potential in other areas.”

– We live with the assumption that aggression in some form may occur this evening – added the general.

Let us recall that a number of incidents involving Ukrainian drones have recently occurred in Latvia. The events led first to friction and then to the collapse of the ruling coalition. However, on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, an alert was in force in the east of the country against a possible air threat. In response, NATO fighters rose.
