The most viewed film on Netflix Romania in recent days is a Romanian production, writes Pagina de Media. It is a comedy with Mihai Bendeac, entitled “Băieți de Oraș: Golden Boyz”.
The film occupied the first position in the ranking of the most watched films during the Pentecost holiday, immediately after it became available on the streaming platform
The third place is occupied by another Romanian comedy, “Dragoste la rația”, with the influencers Ana Iorga and Adrian Helicopter.
Released in 2026, “City Boys” has the same cast that also appears in the series of the same name that ran on the Antena 1 television channel.
The comedy directed by Mihai Bendeac follows the story of Malone (Vlad Drăgulin), who inherits 9,000,000 euros from a deceased relative, but with one condition, namely that he finish college.
The Romanian production entered Netflix on May 27 and occupied the first position of the films watched on Netflix since the first day of Pentecost.
