China has become the main buyer of Krasnoyarsk forest products

Since the beginning of the year, more than 1 million cubic meters of forest products have been exported from the Krasnoyarsk Territory. China became the main buyer. This was reported by the Rosselkhoznadzor department for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

From January 1 to May 31, department specialists monitored more than 2 million cubic meters of forest products that were exported from the region. We are talking about industrial wood and lumber. More than 1 million cubic meters of forest products were shipped from the region outside Russia. The main volume of exports was lumber. They accounted for 99% of all forest products exported abroad.

In total, deliveries went to 16 countries. At the same time, China became the main importer. 835 thousand cubic meters of lumber and 11 thousand cubic meters of commercial timber were sent there. China accounted for 82% of the total volume of forest products exported from the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

During domestic Russian transportation, Rosselkhoznadzor specialists inspected more than 978 thousand cubic meters of round wood and lumber. A significant part of the products was sent to the Irkutsk region and Krasnodar region.

During this period, the department issued and issued 43.5 thousand certificates for forest products. Among them, 17.2 thousand are phytosanitary and 26.4 thousand are quarantine.
