A Russian court has banned a cat from going out into the hallway
A couple living in a communal apartment in St. Petersburg installed video surveillance in the hallway – they explained this by the desire to keep an eye on their cat. The animal was pooping in the common area, and the 64-year-old neighbor was cursing that she had to clean up after it.
The couple wanted to prove the opposite. The pensioner went to court, adding that she experiences discomfort not only from filming on someone else’s camera. Neighbors littered the common area with old furniture, carpets and a bicycle.
The court decided that the couple should remove the camera, clear the common area of rubbish and keep the cat in the room. The couple was fined twice, so they had to comply.
