A 60-year-old village resident was taken into custody in the Krasnoyarsk Territory Taseevoaccused of murder 68 year old woman.
The crime was committed on May 15, 2026, but it was not immediately solved. According to investigators, the cohabitants were in the courtyard of their house and had a fight over the division of property belonging to the woman. During the quarrel, the man struck her with an ax many times in the head, from which she died on the spot.
“The man then wiped fingerprints off the crime weapon and threw away the trousers that had traces of the victim’s blood on them. After that, he independently reported the murder to law enforcement agencies, trying to divert suspicion from himself. As part of the investigation of the criminal case, various versions and motives for the crime were worked out, recordings from CCTV cameras were studied, people from the deceased’s circle and recorded by cameras in the area were questioned, and searches were carried out in the apartments of the alleged attackers. The results of a psychophysiological study using a polygraph conducted on the roommate indicated his involvement in the murder. Under the weight of the evidence presented, the man admitted his guilt and demonstrated in detail the circumstances of the incident when checking the evidence on the spot,” the Investigative Committee said.

Currently, in the criminal case (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), the necessary investigative actions are being carried out aimed at collecting and consolidating the evidence base.
