A drug market courier will be tried in Krasnoyarsk

A citizen of Uzbekistan will appear in court in Krasnoyarsk, accused of attempted drug trafficking and money laundering. The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk region reported this.

According to investigators, in the fall of 2025, the young man began working as a wholesale courier for an online drug store. He was part of an organized group. His task was to receive large quantities of prohibited substances, transport them to a rented apartment, package them and prepare them for further distribution.

The man kept drugs in an apartment on Second Krasnoflotskaya Street. During the search, eight types of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances were found there, weighing more than one kilogram. Among those seized were mephedrone, amphetamine, methadone, cannabis and other prohibited substances.

The accused received payment for his work in cryptocurrency. In just a few months, according to investigators, he earned more than 800 thousand rubles. He transferred the money into rubles and withdrew it to bank accounts. The prosecutor's office approved the indictment. The young man is charged with several counts of attempted drug trafficking as part of an organized group, as well as money laundering.

The criminal case will be considered by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnoyarsk.
