The prosecutor's office revealed violations in the provision of preferential medications to patients at Krasnoyarsk Interdistrict Children's Clinical Hospital No. 1.
The audit showed that young patients, including disabled children, were not given preferential prescriptions for necessary drugs if there were medical indications. Despite the diagnoses and doctor's prescriptions, families had difficulty obtaining medications.
In particular, prescriptions were not issued for drugs such as Nurofen, Ibuprofen, Rhinonorm, Snoop and Otrivin. In addition, disabled children were often given preferential prescriptions for only 30 days instead of the 90 required by law.
Based on the results of the inspection, the prosecutor's office made a presentation to the deputy chief physician of the institution and opened an administrative case under Part 2 of Art. 19.20 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (carrying out activities in violation of the requirements and conditions of the license).
After the intervention of the supervisory authority, disabled children were provided with the necessary medications in full, the hospital strengthened control over the issuance of preferential prescriptions, and the guilty officials were brought to disciplinary action.
Also, the deputy chief physician for outpatient work was given an administrative fine in the amount of 15 thousand rubles.
