Six people were stabbed during a parade of Arsenal players celebrating their Premier League title win. London police confirmed the incidents on Monday, detaining 24 people during the event.
No less than 500,000 fans of the “gunners” filled the streets around the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, where Mikel Arteta's students paraded in a spectacular parade with the trophy of champions of the first English league.

The police mobilized more than 500 security agents for the event, detaining ten people on suspicion of assaulting law enforcement.
Another 14 people were detained for crimes such as sexual assault, violence, possession of drugs, white weapons, disturbing public order or drunkenness.
In the evening, after most of the crowd had dispersed, six stabbings took place. Most of the victims were not seriously injured, but a man in his 20s was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Meanwhile, his condition has stabilized. During the day, police were given extra powers to carry out stop and search operations.
“I would like to thank the majority of Arsenal fans who attended the celebration safely and responsibly. As the evening progressed and the crowd dispersed, acts of violence took place, including gang-related incidents. Police responded quickly to each stabbing and investigations are still ongoing,” said Stuart Bell, the commander of the operation, according to sport.aktuality.sk.
Unfortunately for the English, Arsenal fans couldn't celebrate winning the Champions League either. Their team lost in the last act to PSG (1-1, 4-3 on penalty kicks.
