“We decided to call it a day.” Bilyk became Grosu's godfather and amazed her with a statement about their connection

Ukrainian singer Alina Grosu baptized her first-born son Mark-Gabriel. The ceremony took place in Chernivtsi. The artist’s press service reported the details to the online publication GORDON.

Irina Bilyk became the baby’s godmother. The singer’s team does not disclose who became the godfather.

“I am immensely happy that my son’s christening became a wonderful opportunity to gather all our family and close friends at one table for the first time in many years. For me, it was a day filled with love, warmth and gratitude. We so rarely have the opportunity to stop and be together,” said Alina Grosu.

She added that these moments will remain in her heart forever.

“From the moment the star Alina Grosu shone on the horizon of Ukrainian show business, many were convinced that I was her real godmother. In fact, all these years, Alina called me her “godmother in Ukrainian show business” – the person who supported her creative path and was there at important moments in her professional development,” the singer noted. “Today we finally decided to put an end to this story and symbolically correct this confusion. From now on, I have truly become the godmother of Alina Grosu’s son. This is a special and very touching day for our family, which we happily share with all our fans. And from today on, I will proudly and warmly call Alina my godfather.”

In the comments under the corresponding post by Grosu on Instagram, fans write that the child is very similar to his father, Russian actor Roman Polyansky.

“The baby is a copy of dad,” fans noted.

“Copy of dad,” subscribers wrote.
