More and more people decide to use their phones for longer periods of time, and purchases are motivated mainly by necessity, not fashion or promotion. What may also be surprising is the reluctance to repair devices, even though damage to them is common.

Changes in attitudes towards smartphones reflect broader consumer and technology trends. The longer life cycle of phones is the result of rising prices, expectations regarding durability and smaller differences between subsequent models.

The Smart Barometer 2025 report, analyzed by Aboutmarketing.pl, shows that as many as 73 percent Poles use only one phone, and the number of people with two devices has dropped to 18%.
