The regional stage of the All-Russian military-patriotic game “Zarnitsa 2.0” has started in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The press service of the regional government said that over the course of two days, 180 schoolchildren and students from 10 municipal districts will compete in the disciplines of basic military training, team and individual tests at the Yunarmiya patriotic education center, and will also take part in a tactical game on the ground.
The participants and mentors were greeted by the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov:
“This game is over 60 years old – innovations have appeared over the years, but the essence has remained the same. First of all, “Zarnitsa” is a test of character. This is where will, discipline and courage are tested. Those who know how to achieve goals, work in a team, and take responsibility win. All these qualities will be useful in study, profession and life. You have someone to follow by example – look up to the heroes of our country who defeated fascism, and to those who today increase the glory of Russia by carrying out the tasks of a special military operation.”
In 2026, almost 80 thousand schoolchildren and students of secondary vocational education institutions in the region submitted applications to participate in Zarnitsa 2.0. About 12 thousand people made it to the municipal stages, and 810 participants to the zonal stages.
Earlier, on May 27 and 28, the regional stage took place for the younger age category – children from 7 to 10 years old. The winner was the ZaDelo detachment from the Emelyanovsky municipal district. The second place was taken by the “Personnel Reserve” from the Rybinsk Municipal District, the third place was taken by the “Sappers” detachment from the Nazarovsky Municipal District.
Today participants of the middle, senior and special age categories entered the fight. They will have to pass individual tests in seven conventional military specialties: commander, military correspondent, signalman, medic, UAV operator, attack aircraft and sapper engineer. The teams will also test their strength in a paramilitary relay race, drill, fire and tactical training, medicine, forced marches, survival in extreme conditions and other disciplines.
The winners of the regional stage in the middle and special age categories will represent the Krasnoyarsk Territory at the regional stage, which will be held in the region in 2026. Finalists in the senior age category will receive direct tickets to the all-Russian final of the game, which will take place in September in Volgograd.
