How much money does PSG earn after the Champions League triumph

PSG managed to defend their title as European championsafter defeating Arsenal in Budapest in the grand final of the Champions League, after penalty kicks, score 4-3 (1-1 at the end of 120 minutes of play). Beyond the result, the success achieved in the Hungarian capital also means a financial “boom” for the team on the Seine.

PSG had a shaky start to the final in Budapest after conceding a goal in the 6th minute, but managed to send the game into extra time after Ousmane Dembele converted the second-half penalty.

After 1-1 after 120 minutes of play, the final in the Hungarian capital was decided on penalties, where the Londoners missed twice, dashing their dream of bringing home the big trophy.

PSG filled the accounts after winning the Champions League

The winner of the Champions League, PGS, will collect no less than 25 million euros only for the triumph in the final, without counting the amounts obtained from the existing qualifications in the previous rounds.

On the other hand, 18.5 million euros will go into the accounts of the losers from Arsenal.

In the knockout rounds of the competition, the clubs collected 11 million euros each for qualifying for the round of 16, 12.5 million euros for the quarter-finals and 15 million euros for reaching the semi-finals.

Added to these amounts were 18.62 million euros granted for participation in the main phase of the Champions League, as well as the bonuses obtained as a result of the group results. Each win was rewarded with €2.1 million, while a draw fetched €700,000 each.
