The former captain of Ștefan cel Mare is of the opinion that a much too “soft” strategy was imposed, totally contrary to the historical identity of the club.

Andrei Nicolescu, reply for Giani Kiriță: “Any player who has played and means something to Dinamo can do this”

Invited live on TV to comment on the harsh accusations launched by Kiriță, Andrei Nicolescu he did not want to escalate the conflict.

The president of the “dogs” explained that he would never adopt an aggressive attitude in the TV studios just for the sake of the show and conveyed to the former defender that he has a free hand to defend the club in the public space if he feels the need.

“It is not my way, it is not the typology of our shareholders to do such a thing. Any player who has played and means something to Dinamo can do this and help publicly by taking a stand, by word of mouth. It's practical, any help from anyone is welcome,” said Andrei Nicolescu on the “Footbal Club” show from Digi Sport.

Giani Kiriță, attack without planning: “Mihai Stoica laughs in his nose in the studio, and he doesn't say anything!”

Kiriță believes that Nicolescu is dominated in public appearances by rivals from FCSB and that his past from Giulești prevents him from really feeling the pulse of the dynamoist movement.

You go to the studio, Mihai Stoica comes and you have nothing to do. You are not in this style, Nicolescu is not burning for Dinamo. It was at Rapid. I said it, he has all my respect for what he did at the club, but Dinamo lives with its soul.

I hope he understands that I have nothing to do with him. I really don't have anything. I have earned the right to talk about Dinamo.
