Shortly after leaving his Edvinas Gertmonas (29 years old) at Servette, U Cluj moved quickly and introduced Neofytos Michael (32), goalkeeper who has made 6 appearances for Pathetic in the Champions League last season.
The Cypriot goalkeeper shared the locker room with the Romanian international Vlad Dragomir (27 years old) for two seasons in Pafos, where he won two trophies, the Cyprus championship in the 2024-2025 season and the Cyprus Cup, won shortly before he was introduced to U Cluj.
Neofytos Michail was only an unused substitute in Paphos' 2-0 win over Apollon Limassol in the final.

Neofytos Michael was brought up at Olympiakos Nicosia, but did not get to debut for the big team, being later loaned to THOI Lakatamias, and then to Nea Salamis.
In 2017, the Cypriot goalkeeper was bought by APOEL Nicosia, from where he was transferred on loan to Aris Limassol initially, after which he went to Greece, to PAS Giannina. Another loan followed, at Asteras Tripolis, and later he returned to Olympiakos Nicosia, for whom he made 32 appearances in the 2020-2021 season.

His performance that season convinced APOEL to use him in 13 matches in the 2021-2022 season, including 6 in the championship play-offs. Later, Neofytos Michael arrived at Anorthosis Famagusta, and from the summer of 2024 the goalkeeper was registered at Pafos.
Neofytos Michael was one of the most important players in Paphos' successful campaign in the Champions League, being integral in the preliminaries and in the first 6 group matches, where he kept the goal intact 3 times: in 0-0 with Olympiakos, 0-0 with Kairat Almaty and 1-0 with Villarreal.
Also, the goalkeeper who measures 1.90 m, has 17 selections for the first representative team of the Cyprus national team.
