A 44-year-old resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was charged with financing an extremist and terrorist organization. On the initiation of a criminal case on Part 1.1 Art. 205.1 and part 1 of Art. 282.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was reported today to the Investigative Committee.
According to investigators, between May 2021 and March 2024, the man transferred more than 8 thousand rubles to the accounts of a recognized extremist and terrorist organization, whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation.
A preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen for the defendant, and a search was carried out at his place of residence.
Law enforcement officers continue to establish all the circumstances of the crime.
