Canadian Prime Minister 'welcomes the Pope's leadership' on AI

They discussed the imperative that AI must serve humanity, starting with the protection of the individual. Prime Minister Carney expressed Canada's desire to be an international leader in responsible AI and tools that benefit the global community,” the release said.
The topic of the telephone conversation was also activities for peace in the Middle East and Ukraine.
