Ukrainian intelligence records that the troops of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation are preparing to launch a new massive missile strike. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky warned about this in his address on May 29, which he published on Facebook.
He called on Ukrainians to respond to air raid signals and save lives.
“Our services are working quickly, the Air Force and other defenders of the sky will work 24/7, as always,” the head of state noted.
As of 19.56, Russian cruise missiles were already in Ukrainian airspace, which, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, were moving towards the Vinnitsa and Kyiv regions.
Zelensky stressed that the issue of air defense remains a key priority in negotiations with partners. Ukraine continues to attract international support to strengthen the defense of the skies, in particular through agreements with Sweden and Japan.
“I am grateful to every partner, all leaders and states who are ready to help and fulfill agreements. The PURL program must work. This applies to both the United States and Europe. We are accumulating funds from European partners and our other friends to buy missiles, in particular for Patriot systems. Sufficient supplies depend on the United States. We hope that Ukraine will be heard,” the president said.
