Danila believes that Romania should apply for the activation of Art. 4 of the NATO Treaty in connection with an unprecedented incident in which a Russian drone crashed over an apartment block in Galacz. The machine destroyed a building and injured two people.
Earlier, the Romanian Ministry of Health announced that both injured people were in hospital and their condition was stable.

In an interview for the News website, General Danila explained why the army could not shoot down the drone and what further steps should be taken both on the military and diplomatic levels.
— Yes, it should be discussed at the level of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) and reference to Art. 4 for consultations. We need to see what can be done at the allied level, because at the moment the only real chance of success against these targets would be to fight them while they are still in Ukrainian airspace, the general said.
