Support for existing businesses and technology companies is being strengthened in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The regional forum “My Business. Entrepreneurship Days – 2026,” the press service of the regional government spoke about this. Educational intensives, round tables and master classes on current issues of doing business are organized for entrepreneurs, self-employed people, experts, investors and innovators.

At the plenary session, which took place on May 26, Russian Entrepreneurship Day, leading experts and government officials discussed the challenges and opportunities for business in the new economic conditions. In his welcoming speech, the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov noted that systematic work to support and develop entrepreneurship continues in the region.

Within the framework of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy”, targeted support to increase labor productivity is provided free of charge. More than 150 enterprises in the region have already taken part in the project, ensuring a 15% increase in productivity. Since 2022, the region has been effectively implementing a separate program for small businesses to increase labor productivity, in which more than 50 small enterprises took part. This practice is recognized as one of the best in the country.

To reduce the time for training specialists in the region, the federal project “Professionalism” of the national project “Youth and Children” and the regional project “Professionalism for All” are being implemented, which make it possible to synchronize business needs with the capabilities of the secondary vocational education system and in a short time train specialists for the needs of specific industries and industries in the region.

The state support system continues to operate in the region. Now the emphasis of assistance has been reoriented from launching new businesses to developing existing small and medium-sized enterprises. Aid should lead to increased investment, an increase in the tax base and the creation of new industrial products. Within the framework of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy”, preferential lending instruments are being implemented, as well as “umbrella” guarantees from state microfinance and guarantee organizations.

Particular attention is paid to technology companies: last year, six organizations received grants to implement and commercialize their innovative developments. Additionally, for such companies, based on the “My Business” center, a special microfinance product was introduced at a preferential rate, which made it possible to increase the number of technology companies in the region from 32 to 81. Also, the Krasnoyarsk Territory is actively participating in the federal initiative for the creation and development of industrial parks. One of them is located in Zheleznogorsk.

Thanks to the national project “International Cooperation and Export”, the region is continuously searching for new markets and stimulating the supply of goods from local producers abroad. For these purposes, the Export Support Center operates, which provides more than 40 types of services.

Attention is paid to financial and non-financial support for youth and social entrepreneurship, business development in municipalities. In addition, assistance is provided to entrepreneurial initiatives of SVO participants. They are provided with priority access to financial and infrastructural support measures, and the “Own Business” educational program is being implemented.

A decision was made on the priority of responsible business: this will not only improve the socio-economic situation in the region, but also create a business model focused on the long-term sustainable development of the region’s economy.

The head of the region noted that special tax policy conditions apply in the region: since the beginning of this year, to reduce the administrative burden, a special regime has been introduced in the region – an automated simplified taxation system. Support for the transition to new tax regimes is also provided for entrepreneurs – training seminars based on the My Business center. There are property tax benefits for residents of the Zheleznogorsk ASEZ and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.

Summing up his speech, Mikhail Kotyukov emphasized that an open dialogue between government and business is important in order to directly hear the needs of entrepreneurs and together develop solutions that can be a worthy response to any situation in the economy.

“In the context of economic transformation, we need systemic solutions, not one-time measures. We will develop infrastructure, simplify administrative procedures and do everything to make doing business with us comfortable and promising. Our goal is to make the Krasnoyarsk Territory a region with a favorable business climate,” said Mikhail Kotyukov.
