In Krasnoyarsk, road workers began repairing Matrosova Street. The total length of the section is 3.4 km.
According to the municipal contract, the contractor will have to repair the street from residential building No. 4 to non-residential building No. 41a. Now workers are dismantling the curb stone in the area of Sawmill Street. Before this, the asphalt along the curbs was milled to reduce the amount of dust and dirt during work.
On Matrosova Street, the roadway will be completely resurfaced, curb stones will be renewed and sidewalks will be repaired. The missing pedestrian areas will also be installed in the area of the railway bridge. Once the curbs are replaced, the contractor will begin laying new asphalt. There are no plans to completely close the street; traffic will be limited to lanes.
Similar work is currently underway on Igarskaya Street. On the streets of the Constitution of the USSR, Bazaiskaya, Ada Lebedeva, Krupskaya and Elena Stasova, contractors are changing curbs, repairing sidewalks and preparing the base for laying asphalt. Excavation work is underway on Ryazanskaya Street to install new stops. Asphalting is actively underway at four sites. The top layer of pavement has already been laid on the passage from Odesskaya to Ryazanskaya streets, and the contractor has begun asphalt work on Pogranichnikov Street. The bottom layer of asphalt has been laid on 78 Volunteer Brigade and Maerchak streets, and the well slabs are now being replaced there.
The mayor's office noted that they pay special attention to the quality of materials. For example, on Aviatorov Street, the contractor removed the old asphalt, but has not yet started laying new asphalt due to the inadequacy of the quality of inert materials for the asphalt concrete mixture. The work will continue after the laboratory's conclusion.
In total, in 2026, 25 road sections are planned to be repaired in Krasnoyarsk under the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. 1.5 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes.
