In one of the forestry of the Birilyus district, police caught a black lumberjack. This was reported in the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The 38-year-old previously convicted individual entrepreneur was engaged in illegal cutting of trees. In total, he cut down more than 400 cedars. He sold wood to unidentified persons.
Damage to the forest fund amounted to 3,348,697 rubles.
Investigators opened a criminal case of illegal cutting of forest stands. The investigation continues.
