Chefi la cucite final winner, season 17. The contestant who went home with the prize of 30,000 euros and the trophy

Marina Luca, Alexandru Sautner's golden knife, is the big winner of season 17 Chefs at knives. After a final contested between four competitors, Marina Luca obtained the highest score and won the competition trophy, as well as the grand prize, worth 30,000 euros.

The finale of the 17th season of Chefi la cucite shows Alexandru Dodoaia, the golden knife of chef Richard Abou Zaki, Marina Luca, the golden knife of chef Alexandru Sautner, Vladimir Popa and Ștefan Turian in the last act of the competition.

Before the first test, the finalists had to form their teams for the last stage of the competition. Irina Fodor, the presenter of the show, announced that the choice of team members will be made according to the number drawn by each contestant from a bowl. The competitors had already made some strategies, but their plans were turned upside down.

“Cooking Techniques,” the theme of the season 17 finale

The finale also brought a premiere to the set of the show. The dishes were evaluated by chef Vlad Pădurescu, chef Radu Ionescu, Gabriela Pascariu, Marian Cernat, Ana Consulea, Alex Antal, Melinda Kutasi Teohari, Florin Ivan, Alex Burcă and, for the first time at Chefi la cuțite, Manfredi Maretti, an Italian editor involved in the fields of culture, art and gastronomy.

The theme of the final was “Cooking Techniques”, with three tests: starter, main course and dessert. The contestants had to prepare a starter using the confiture technique, a main dish prepared using the yakitori technique and a dessert made using the sous-vide technique.

“I hope I've inspired a lot of people”

“After such a difficult season, look, I managed to win with a pastry chef, but what a pastry chef. She proved to me today that she was the best,” noted chef Alexandru Sautner.

“I'm crying with happiness, I'm happy that I didn't give up. I'm surrounded by wonderful people. I hope my mother is proud and I hope I've inspired a lot of people,” said Marina Luca.
