An event that took place in traffic on Tuesday evening in the Capital came to the attention of the police, after a female driver who stopped on the cycling track claimed that she was attacked by a cyclist.
According to her own confessions, the young woman stopped the car at the entrance to a residential complex where her friend lived, on a bicycle path. The woman says she only stopped for 2 minutes to pick up her friend, but a man on a bicycle reacted violently and started hitting the car with his hands and feet, angry that the car was blocking the bike lane.
“He was cursing us, looking at us badly. Then he drove forward, we went behind him, I wanted to film him. He put on the brakes. I put on the brakes too and we stopped each other. He came to my window. He ran over me into the car.” the driver told the Observer.
She mentioned that when she got out of the car to check if the car was intact, the individual allegedly punched her in the face.
The two women say they immediately called 112, but the aggressor, who was wearing both a balaclava and a helmet, managed to run away.

The two young people are also dissatisfied with the attitude of the police in this case.
“I arrived at the police station, I stayed for a few hours. The discussions were mostly something like: «But did you do something, provoke him? You parked in the bike lane… If you meet him here tomorrow?» That's exactly what I asked the policeman. If I meet again what will happen? «I don't think so. It still happens. It's something normal. Rest assured that nothing will happen»“, explained the driver.
For now, the aggressor has not been identified. The police representatives say that the agents dealing with the case followed the procedure in the statements taken from the victims.
