Startup Nation at the end: How the applications for funding are going in the first session. A chance at Session 2 for some graduates of Session 1 courses

Less than a quarter of the applicants to the first session of the Startup Nation 4 program also managed to submit an application for funding of up to 250,000 lei (almost EUR 50,000), per company, by Monday, May 25, 2026, at around 8:00 p.m., 4 days before the end of aid applications, many of the applicants having virtually no chance at the non-refundable funds for small business.

The stakes of the program are high: total budget of almost EUR 450 million, from European funds and from the state budget.
