From June 1 to July 31, 2026, applications for co-financing of forest and tree investments can be submitted. Assistance from the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture will include, among others: forest renewal after fires, afforestation of agricultural land, creation of mid-field trees and agroforestry systems.
The ARiMR program supports the reconstruction and development of forest areas and increases the biodiversity of Polish nature. Thanks to funding, forest owners and farmers can not only regenerate damaged tree stands, but also invest in new plantings and agroforestry systems.
ARiMR has funds for farmers. Short recruitment time
As explained by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, high subsidy rates encourage investments in biodiversity and environmental protection. It is also a chance for additional income for farmers and foresters.
Under the program, you can obtain funds for four types of investments. The first is to increase the biodiversity of private forests – here the support ranges from PLN 1,500 to PLN 22,000. PLN/ha, depending on the scope of work.

The second is afforestation of agricultural land – from 16 thousand. PLN/ha up to 21 thousand PLN/ha is allocated for the implementation and protection of afforestation. In subsequent years, bonuses are awarded for afforestation:
- 5-year maintenance bonus in the amount of approx. PLN 1,000-1,600/ha/year and
- A 12-year afforestation bonus compensating for the costs of lost income from agriculture in the amount of PLN 1,438/ha/year.
ARiMR is launching a new recruitment process. How much can you get per hectare?
The third form of investment is the creation of mid-field plantings, where support ranges from PLN 10,000. up to 18 thousand PLN/ha. Additionally, a 5-year bonus for their maintenance and care is granted to the plantations in the amount of PLN 2,494/ha/year.
The fourth form of investment that can receive support from ARiMR is the establishment of agroforestry systems, with funding ranging from PLN 3,000 to PLN 7,000/ha. Additionally, established agroforestry systems are granted a 5-year bonus for their maintenance and care in the amount of PLN 300/ha/year.

The program is implemented as part of the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy for 2023-2027. This is an opportunity to improve the condition of the environment and provide financial support for land owners.
