A fatal accident involving a drunk driver occurred in the Bogotol district. This was reported to the State Traffic Inspectorate for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The accident happened on the night of May 25 at 6 km of the Bogotol Tyukhtet highway towards the federal highway R-255 “Siberia”. According to the State Traffic Inspectorate, the 24-year-old driver of a VAZ-21124 drove off the road, after which the car overturned. Police determined that the driver was intoxicated.
As a result of the accident, a 16-year-old passenger who was sitting in the front seat died. The girl died from her injuries before the ambulance arrived. The State Traffic Inspectorate clarified that she was not wearing a seat belt. There was also a 17-year-old passenger in the car. He was taken to the hospital, there is no threat to life.
The driver was not injured in the accident. Now police officers are clarifying all the circumstances of the incident.
