Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Serhiy Palisa at Yalta Europe…

Serhii Palisa, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine at the Yalta European Strategy (YES-2025), organized by the Viktor Pinchuk Foundation in Kyiv, stated that Ukraine is ready to share experience and help European countries so that they have the time and opportunity to prepare and prepare their societies for Russian aggression.
“Time in war is one of the most important factors because it is impossible to prepare a unit, a brigade or an entire army corps instantly,” he said during a panel discussion on “When will Europe be ready for a Russian attack?“, adding that the Armed Forces are also trying to be creative. As such an example, Serhii Palisa cited the case of a shortage of 155 mm artillery rounds in 2023.
“At that time, my unit was carrying out combat missions in the direction of Bakhmut. We felt this shortage of ammunition personally. Therefore, as the head of the unit, I had to think about something new. That's how units of fpv-drone operators appeared, because there weren't enough cartridges for artillery,” said Serhii Palisa.
In his opinion, providing Ukraine with everything it needs in a timely manner will allow the Ukrainian army to hold back the Russian onslaught, which, in turn, will give European countries time to prepare for a Russian invasion.
