The Iran deal has been largely negotiated

US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that the Iran deal had been largely negotiated and the final details were now being discussed. He announced that an agreement would be announced soon and that the agreement would lead to the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
“The Agreement has been substantially negotiated, subject to finalization, between the United States of America, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the other countries named,” Trump wrote on Truth Social after a telephone call with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt on the preliminary framework for an agreement to end the war with Iran (“memorandum of understanding”).
“The final aspects and details of the agreement are currently being discussed and will be announced soon. Among many other elements of the agreement, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened,” Trump added.
He noted that he had a separate conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and reported that it went “very well.”
