Gloria Bistrita obtained on Saturday, May 23, the first title in historyand two players obtained individual awards following the developments of this season. More specifically, Lorena Ostase (28 years old) was named the best Romanian handball player, while Danila So Delgado (24 years old) received the award for the best foreign player.
Gloria Bistrița paraded in the city on the banks of the Danube and beat CSM Galați 38-21, becoming the new champion of Romania in women's handball. Thus ended the most successful season in the history of the Transylvanian club.
Carlos Viver's band had an excellent evolution both internally and externally. In the Champions League, Gloria Bistrita was one of the revelations of the competition, stopping in the quarter-finals.
Instead, at the national level, the team from Bistrita made the event, winning both the Romanian Cup, after a final with SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea, and the title, after a comeback in which they defeated CSM Bucharest, CSM Corona Brașov and SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea on the road.

On Saturday, May 23, in Galati, Gloria Bistrita celebrated the first title in the history of the club, and Viver's students received the gold medals. Also, two of them got some individual awards.
Lorena Ostase, with 54 goals in the Flower League, was named the best Romanian handball player in the championship. She also scored 71 goals in the Champions League, being one of Bistrita's best players this season.
Danila So Delgado, with 136 goals, was named the best foreign player in the League of Flowers. She finished in second place in the ranking of scorers, being surpassed only by Tuva Hove (SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea), who collected 144 goals.
In the Champions League, So Delgado scored 121 goals. So, a total of 257 goals for the Iberian in this second season spent at Gloria Bistrița.
