“If they weren't friendly, I didn't agree with Hagi's calls”

Former international Basarab Panduru (55) spoke about the team called by Gică Hagi (61) for the matches against Georgia and Wales in June.
Basarab Panduru agrees with all the choices made by Hagi, but only because it is not an action with official matches.
Basarab Panduru: “It's good that they call everyone to this action”
“It's something, maybe, to comment on. But taking into account this action and the fact that now he's coming for the first time and wants to see the players, I agree with everyone. Even if some are not in the best form and maybe didn't deserve to be called up, they are all worth watching.
But if it had been a call for September, I would have given my opinion. So, you want to see the Comans, Moruțan. It's one thing to see him from the stands, it's another to train him, to see how he moves. It's good that they call everyone to this action, because you won't have time to see them afterwards. You can't take him to see Moruțan against Sweden or what the first match is.
Then I would no longer agree. If it was now September, it wasn't worth it and I would have commented. Take them, train them, make up your own mind, but in official matches I have a problem. There's nothing wrong with taking 40 players, it's actually good.
Musi is to be taken now? No, but why not see him too? You don't have friendlies anymore, you start directly with four official matches, you have to get an idea of everyone. If we play 4-3-3, it will be good, I think. I always said I would have seen a 5-3-2, with two strikers.
We don't get to the goal, we don't manage to be dangerous. I like 4-3-1-2 better, but we have those two strikers?”, said Basarab Panduru, on the show “Fotbal Show”, from Prima Sport.
