In the areas of the Kyiv region, preparations for all-round defense have begun. The head of the Vyshgorod regional military administration, Alexei Danchin, announced this at the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities in Slavutich, the video is published by the Judicial-Legal Gazeta.
“According to the decision of the military command, there are tasks to prepare for defense, including the all-round defense of populated areas,” he said.
It provides for the preparation of fortifications and the distribution of forces for defense in conditions of isolation or siege.
Danchin pointed out that Vyshgorod has already built 63 km of anti-drone protection. In total, 32 settlements in the northern part of the region, including Kyiv, received the task, Danchin noted.
“Only for priority measures, in accordance with modern standards and the tasks of constructing non-explosive barriers, approximately 11 billion UAH are needed,” added the head of the RVA.
On May 21, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced the strengthening of borders with the aggressor country Russia and Belarus, from whose territory there is a possibility of an attack. We are talking about Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Volyn and Rivne regions.
