During cooking, splashes of fat, drops of sauces, traces of water and food fall on the walls – over time, these contaminants accumulate, eat into the surface and turn into a real problem. Conventional detergents do not always cope with old stains. The author of the Ukrainian blog “Gospodinka” told how to easily and effectively remove dirt from kitchen tiles.
“There is a simple and affordable solution that works equally effectively on different types of surfaces. This method is suitable for both plastic panels and ceramic tiles, which makes it truly universal. To prepare this product you only need two components that can be found in almost every home,” she advised.
Preparation
- Mix 200 g of vinegar and 100 g of vodka.
- Apply the mixture to the contaminated surface. Use a sponge or rag to spread evenly over the entire area to be cleaned.
- Rub problem areas thoroughly, paying special attention to the areas with the heaviest dirt.
- After treatment, rinse off any remaining product with clean water and wipe dry.
“The caustic components of the solution actively affect fat deposits, destroying their structure and dissolving even old stains. The result becomes noticeable almost immediately. Those who regularly use this method note its high efficiency and cost-effectiveness,” added the blogger.
