Big problems at Chindia Târgoviște! The players of the team from Dâmboviţa will play the play-off for promotion to the Super League, but the situation at the team is an explosive one.
There is little left until the curtain is drawn on a new season in Romanian football. The matches from the last stage of the play-off are still to be played, then the four play-off games for maintaining/promoting in the Super League, but also the confrontations for the place that ensures the presence in the Conference League preliminaries.
“We're playing on an empty stomach! I haven't seen the money for four months”
At this moment, there is a huge scandal at one of the teams engaged in the fight for access to the elite. Players have complained that they have not received their money for four monthsand the management does not lift a finger to help them.
“We play on an empty stomach, as they say! Lies upon lies, unfulfilled promises, empty words… You have to perform, prepare properly, win matches. Everyone swears at us and we haven't seen the money for four months…”, claim authorized voices from Chindia's locker room.

“Hope? Let's win the lottery!”
The situation is not new for the team, because there have been serious problems with money in the past, but the team has also received funding from the City Hall or the County Council.
“They tinkered here and there, but in vain. We have families, children, we can't sit and wait every day, maybe a salary will come in… What hopes do we have?! Let's win the lottery and throw our shoes out the window. We're waiting for the play-off, we're playing and we'll see what God wants“, important people from the band also stated.

When the lighthouse is played
The representative of Dâmbovița county will receive a visit from Farul Constanța in the barrage for promotion to the Superleague. Chindia finished last in the League 2 play-off, but took advantage of the fact that Steaua and Bihor did not meet the conditions for access to the first echelon.
The first match will be played in Târgoviște (Saturday, May 23, at 5:30 p.m.), while the second leg is scheduled for Sunday, May 31, at 8:30 p.m., in Ovidiu.

For more than three years, Chindia has not played in the first league in Romania. The last match played on the first stage was against FC Voluntari, in Târgoviște, the match ended in a tie, score 2-2.
This is after the team endured four consecutive seasons in the Super League, after the promotion in 2019, during which it played only one match at home, in Târgoviște.
