In the Krasnoyarsk Territory over the last 7 days Doctors complained of tick bites 1309 inhabitants, of which 338 are children. This was reported by Rospotrebnadzor.
Three more cases of tick-borne infections have also been confirmed: viral encephalitis – in a 71-year-old man who was bitten by a tick at the Minino station; borreliosis – in a 29-year-old resident of Berezovka; Siberian tick-borne typhus – in a 19-year-old Minusinsk resident.
In total, 3,630 cases of tick bites have been registered in the region since the beginning of the tick season.
“Currently, acaricidal treatment of the territories continues – more than 1.5 thousand hectares have already been treated in the region. Remember that with the onset of heat, ticks become even more active, so when going out into nature, follow preventive measures!” Rospotrebnadzor urged.
