The seized bags were sent for examination, where it was established that it contained a narcotic drug of plant origin – cannabis with a total weight of 588 grams,” – clarified by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under Part 2 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, production, processing of narcotic drugs on a large scale.” He faces up to 10 years in prison.
